With four teams finishing their scramble last Sunday on 8 under par, and one team on 9 under, it took Damian all his mathematical skills to eventually name the winning team, and after adjustment for handicaps, the team of Flo McGivern, Gerry Gallagher, Charlie Coughlan and Charlie Patton claimed victory.
The unfortunate losing team who returned 9 under par just fell short on BOT, despite some amazing putting skills.
The excitement built up to new heights in the tightest of competition in the biggest field of the year so far, hopefully a feature that will continue again this Sunday, as will the continuing mild weather we have been lucky to enjoy.
Plenty of turkeys left for the next few Sundays, so remember, names in to 9158319 by 11.45 for a 12.00 noon tee off.
