TERMON’S Ladies gaelic footballers are through to the All-Ireland Final!
The Co Donegal champions beat Kilkerrin-Clonberne 3-11 to 2-12 – despite an astonishing extra 12 minutes of injury time.
Geraldine McLaughlin was once again the star of the show as she hit 2-04 of the Termon Ladies scores.
It’s an incredible achievement for the Termon girls.
They will take on Mourneabbey from Cork on Sunday 30th November.
Delighted manager Francie Friel was over the moon at the result today.
“I don’t know where the extra 12 minutes came from but they felt even longer than that,” he said.
“I’m sure the Cork team will be tough but we’re delighted to be in the All Ireland final now and looking forward to it.
“We’ll get back to training next week and get ready for it. It’s a great day for all our girls and once again Geraldine (McLaughlin) was in superb form. They had three players on her all the time and they still couldn’t deal with her.”
