A DOCTOR who failed to appear at a court sitting where he faced a drink driving charge has appeared in court after being arrested on a bench warrant.
Ali Salaheldin of 5 Pine Crescent, Drumgola Woods, Co. Cavan appeared before Letterkenny District Court charged with drink driving at Thornberry, Letterkenny on August 28th last.
The court heard that the accused had previously worked at Letterkenny General Hospital and is taking up locum work in Oldham in England.
Judge Paul Kelly adjourned the case until January 19th.
