MOVILLE U13 GIRLS REACH COUNTY FINAL
The Moville u13 girls are through to the County Final after beating a very good Glenties team in O’Donnell Park on Thursday last. The Moville girls conceded an early goal but they didn’t panic and where soon level when Claire Brown got on the edge of a well measured pass from Niamh McDonald, a second goal from Kate McClenaghan & a couple of great points from Aiobh Faulkner & Breena Diver soon after put Moville in Control.
Niamh McDonald & Danielle McDermott added two more points before Amy Carr slotted home a great individual goal for Glenties to close the gap before half time & but for a couple of great saves from Milly Banks Glenties could have been level at the break.
Two more quick goals for Glenties after the break meant moville had to dig really deep and Kerri Browne got on the end of Niamh Skellys long ball to slot home to ease the pressure.
Clodagh Skelly & Breena Diver where solid at the back & with Erin Coyle & Fiona Mc Laughlin where making it difficult to get near the Moville goal.
Faulkner & McClenaghan slotted over a couple of long range points and Moville where now in total control. Emer Gillen scored a fine point towards the end to seal the victory.
Best for Moville where Breena Diver, Clodagh Skelly, Claire Browne & Niamh Mc Donald Moville now play St. Eunans in the final on Saturday 15th of November good luck girls.
