Eamon McGee seems to be taking the disappointment of missing out on an All-Star quite well, after telling his followers on Twitter, that he has one title Neil can never get his hands on.
McGee was incredibly unlucky to miss out an All-Star award, after another sensational campaign in the heart of Donegal’s defence.
McGee should have got one in 2012 too, he enjoyed a great season and was typically consistent throughout the campaign.
For many Donegal supporters he was the man-of-the-match against Mayo in the All-Ireland final, but unfortunately the accolade hasn’t been awarded to him.
However, his brother Neil also had a superb campaign, and he was rewarded for that, with his third All-Star in just four years for his incredible and consistent performances over the last number of years.
But before Neil can start bragging, he was reminded of the title he lost to his older sibling.
McGee tweeted, “I once beat our Neil at a sprint in the community games at u12’s, the trophy is still there on the mantle-piece, he now has three all stars though.”
