Winner of the €20 sellers prize was Seamus Doherty (PM) Malin Head. Next weeks jackpot is €1700 and as always we would like to thank the local community for their continued support of our weekly lotto draw. Envelopes are just €2 or 3 for €5 euro and are available in most pubs and shops in the area or alternatively from our band of young eager sellers.
KNOW YOUR PARISH
It’s time to get your teams together as we will be hosting our second ever Know Your Parish Quiz on Sat 8th of November. Last years event was an outstanding success and more importantly a great nights craic. You still have time to brush up on your local knowledge as we set out to see which townland will take home the coveted crown in 2014. Will the brain boxes of Ballynahona retain the title? How many ex school teachers will Terence Colhoun surround himself with this year in attempt to win the trophy? With no stag party to distract him this time, can Ali Farren come out on top? We would urge someone from each townland to get their team of 4 together in the coming weeks as its sure to be a night not to be missed. For more information, contact Pat Mc Laughlin on 087 2030115.
CLUB SHOP
The Malin GAA club shop will be open in the clubhouse on Saturdays from 12-2 and on Sundays from 11-15 to 2-00. There are a large selection of club merchandise in stock, which can be purchased on the day. A list of other club gear, hoodies, rain jackets, shorts, socks, hats, scarves, kit bags etc are also available to order. Club vouchers are now also available and would make an ideal birthday present, or for any occasion. As it is now less than 100 days to Christmas, we would like to remind our followers of the importance of getting your orders in quickly to avoid any disappointment. For more details, contact Susan on 07493 70638.

GUESS THE SCORE
Congratulations to James Douglas of Beaugh who was the winner of the All Ireland Final Guess The Score Competition, James didn’t correctly predict the exact score but was the closest. While the majority of the county were left disappointed by the result, not so James, as rumour has it he made a small fortune from some wagers placed with unsuspecting punters that weekend.
