Hurling Update: We are having a vitally important meeting about hurling coaching and training at the clubhouse on this Thursday 23rd at 8 pm.
We need a full attendance to discuss the success to date, the challenges ahead and how to best serve the children going forward. A draft plan for hurling 2014/2015 will be distributed and discussed.
We would ask all parents, coaches mentors teachers from schools to attend and anyone else who has an interest in how to better promote Dungloe hurling. Please attend. Thank you.
Club hurling training now starts next Tuesday for next years u16 (99 and 00) and u14 (01 and 02) teams.
It will be wall ball training to increase reaction time, eye hand coordination and strike speed and also fitness and body weight training.
It will be especially for new hurlers and we are starting now for that purpose.
Games are planned against teams from Armagh, Meath and Kilkenny in February and march so if that’s not a focus nothing is.
