THERE’S MORE horses in the field in the race to succeed Jim McGuinness as Donegal manager after Ardara nominated Anthony Harkin for the job before the deadline last night.
Harkin is highly rated; as are the other three who are known to have bid for the job.
Anyone who thought that going for this position was a poisoned chalice can think again – there’s a determination in this county to keep the Donegal success rolling now that Jim has gone.
And with Michael Murphy saying the players are ready to get behind whoever the next manager is, it may not be the unforgiving job some in the Dublin (and some local) media would have you believe.
More twists and turns ahead…..
