Saturday evening last was a very proud & historic occasion for our club as the Senior lads finished off their successful season with a hard fought win over St. Mary’s Convoy.
A large crowd were present to see Brendan O’Brien lift the Division 4 trophy from County Treasurer Ciaran Kelly for the first time in our clubs short history.
Congratulations to the team and their manager Sean Mc Brearty assisted by John Mc Dermott, mentors Seamus Bradley, Pat Doherty & John Mc Gilloway. Special thanks to young Sean Mc Gilloway for all his help during the year too.
Our Reserve lads finished off their season on Saturday as Convoy Reserves, deserving Champions, left Pairc na nGael with the points.
Overall this was a great season for our second team finishing 2nd in the league.
Commiserations to our U-16 girls team who were defeated by Kilcar in the league Semi-final on Saturday at Pairc na nGael.
Congratulations and commiserations to Una Quinn who played for Donegal U-16 Camogie team that lost out by a single point in the final of an All-Ireland blitz for developing counties at the weekend.
Our Night at the Races has been deferred until Friday 7th of November in the Arena 7. Please ensure completed race cards are returned in the next 2 weeks.
Well done to our U-8 & U-10 Hurlers who braved the wintry conditions at Convoy at the weekend in their last blitz of the season.
We are delighted to announce that we will be holding a joint White Collar boxing event with Glenswilly GAA in the Silver Tassie Hotel on the 26th of October.
Our boxers are training away for this “Battle of the Swilly 2”. Keep this date free for a great nights enjoyment.

Well done to our U-16 lads on winning the U-16 Shield final last Friday night against Milford.
The team showed great character coming back from an 8 point deficit at one stage to win the match.
Underage training continues every Sunday morning at the pitch from 11-12pm.
Well done to all the girls that took part in the monthly Hurling blitz in Convoy.
All players showed great improvement.
Thanks to parents who drove and gave enthusiastic support on a cold morning. Camogie training continues every Tuesday evening at Pairc na nGael from 6-7pm for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th class.
