Donegal star Neil Gallagher’s chances of getting an All-Star this season have shortened after the influential Glenswilly man was nominated for the September Player of the Month award.
Gallagher has been tipped to get his second All-Star award after a stunning year for Donegal.
The Glenswilly man was an integral part of Jim McGuinness’s side and helped Donegal regain the Ulster SFC and reach the All-Ireland final.
He was one of Donegal’s best performers against Kerry in the All-Ireland final a fortnight ago and he was nominated for this month’s award along with Kerry duo Paul Murphy and Kieran Donaghy.
Gallagher played in Glenswilly’s Donegal SFC defeat to Kilcar last weekend and he’ll feature for them this weekend when they travel to Bundoran in search of a crucial win to keep them in the championship.
