The Rescue 188 helicopter
The Rescue 118 helicopter from Sligo has rescued an injured hillwalker in a forest near Glenties.
The rescue took place earlier this afternoon.
The chopper took the call and landed close to the forest where the man had become injured.
He was assessed by paramedics on board the aircraft, treated and then transferred to Letterkenny General Hospital.
His condition is understood to be stable.
