He’s the new generation of Donegal GAA fan and it ‘suits’ him right down to the ground.
Young Adrian McMyler will certainly stand out from the crowd tomorrow when he travels to Croke Park for the All-Ireland Final.
The second year Scoil Mhuire pupil from Buncrana has had a special Donegal suit made for the occasion in hour of his Donegal heroes.
Adrian follows in the footsteps of another famous Donegal supporter John Porter, also from Buncrana, who has worn his chequered suit for many years.
Adrian, 14, said he hopes the suit will bring Jim McGuinness and his side luck against Kerry.
“I have always loved John Porter’s suit and my dad Pat arranged for a friend to have my own suit made for me.
“I have been to all the games this year apart from one when I was on holidays.
“I love wearing the suit because the minute I saw John, I thought he looked really well.
“I lovely the fun and I love people stopping me in the street to have their picture taken with me,” he said.
Adrian thanked his drama teacher for encouraging him along the way.
His favourite player is Darach O’Connor, a past pupil of Scoil Mhuire.
“I really hope he comes on and plays well. But I have no doubt that we’re going to win.
“Jim McGuinness is an unbelievable a manager and I’ll be wearing my suit with pride for a few days after we win,” predicted Adrian.
