One lucky Irish punter has scooped €86.7m in tonight’s EuroMillions.
The hunt is on for the country’s latest lottery multi-millionaire after one winner hit the jackpot but there are no details where in the country the ticket was bought.

“There was one winner of the EuroMillions Jackpot,” the National Lottery said on its website.
“The winning ticket was sold in Ireland.”
The winning numbers were 6, 8, 34, 38, and 48 and the two stars were 3 and 9.
The win is the third highest ever recorded in the country.
Dolores McNamara won a staggering €115m in a draw back in 2005 and a mystery punter scooped €94m in a ticket sold from a Mace shop in Beaumont, Dublin 9 in June 2013.
