It was one of the landmark factories and employers of its era.

Now October 2014 marks 10 years since the closure of Unifi and former employees have organised a reunion night for everyone to catch up with their old friends and colleagues.

It will be held in the Glenveagh Room of the Mt Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny at 8.00 pm on Friday, 10th of October.

There will be Live Music, Disco, other entertainment as well as finger food.

Admission IS €15 with all proceeds after costs going to the Donegal Hospice.

Unifi, previously known as Courtaulds Lirelle, operated for 30 years at the Ballyraine site employing over 850 employees at it’s height and some few thousand passing through it’s doors over this period.

Strong friendships were formed down the years which are about to be renewed.

Unifiers are asked to let as many of their former colleagues as possible know to ensure a great night. Time is short so lets not miss anyone out.

Unifiers can book their place by the following,

1) A message on the Unifi 10 year reunion Facebook site.

Majella……(086) 8301240

Noeleen…..(087) 9584355

Caroline…..(086) 9692104

3) email unifi2004@gmail.com

Please advise if you are bringing a partner. Payment is at the door and bookings, as set out, will be on a first come first served basis.

There will also be a Memorabilia and Slide show so can anyone with Unifi Mementos and Photographs contact Danny or Ken to organise the items/photographs for the display.
