GAA HQ allocated an incredible FORTY PER CENT of tickets to Donegal as terrace tickets.
In a statement today ahead of their handing out of tickets tomorrow night, Sean Mac Cumhaills said neither its executive nor the County Board had any control over this and appealed for fans’ patience.
“Sean Mac Cumhaills were allocated 373 tickets for the final. 160 of these are for Hill 16. The club has no control over what seated tickets we receive. Obviously we’ve had a huge request for tickets, but the club is not in a position to cater for this demand,” said the Mac Cumhaills in a statement to Donegal Daily today.
“All adult members that ordered a ticket can collect them from the club on Tue 16th from 8.00pm- 10.00pm
“If you do not collect your ticket, the club will assume that you do not want it and will reallocate it. All tickets are to be paid for on the night.”
The statement added: “The club wants everybody to enjoy the quest for All Ireland glory but we wish remind everybody that club officers are voluntary and under no circumstances will any abuse of officers be tolerated. Any abuse will result in removing your ticket and returning your membership monies. Any member not happy with their ticket allocation can return them to the club for a full refund.”
