UPDATED: One man has been arrested after Gardai uncovered a major drugs operation in Portsalon last night.
As part of an intelligence-led operation, officers from the drugs unit raided a house in the area.
The operation uncovered a major cannabis grow-house containing what is believed to be a substantial amount of drugs.
A total of 321 plants worth an estimated €128,000 have been uncovered.
One man, who is understood to be a foreign national and aged 28, was arrested at the scene.
He is currently being questioned at Letterkenny Garda station.
A Garda team are at the scene of the raid.
Elaborate apparatus used to grow cannabis has been recovered as well as a substantial amount of cannabis plants.
The raid is the latest such bust following a number of similar type operations across the county in recent months.
