Seniors:
After a 2 year absence the London senior championship cup is back in Greenford following an almighty battle against Fulham Irish last Sunday at Ruislip.
Fulham started the brighter with an early goal but we pegged our way back and finished the half ahead after a converted Cathal Magee penalty.
Both sides had opportunities in the 2nd half to add goals but good goalkeeping and poor finishing kept us biting our finger nails until the final whistle.
So it’s title number 15 (14 since 1990) and a satisfying result for this bunch of players who lost out by a point in last years final.
Man of the match award went to Mark Gottsche with other excellent performances from Brian Collins, Brian Ross and Joe Feeney. TCG 1-12 Fulham Irish 1-9
