One of the last remaining members of a group of people who say they witnessed an apparition of Our Lady near Dungloe has passed away.Cross

Teresa Boyle nee Ward, passed away at Letterkenny General Hospital.

Mrs Boyle, of Lower Keadue, and her sister Mary say they witnessed the statue of Our Lady at the shrine site at Kerrytown take a human form and shed tears in 1939.

In 2009 another group said they also saw crosses in the sky while others said they saw the statue’s heart take on a red form at the same site.

Details for Mrs Boyle’s funeral have yet to be finalised.
