Our two remaining teams the Maire O’Donnell Team and the Miele Team have bowed out of their respective competitions. The Maire O’Donnell team after beating Cruit in the first round were defeated by Gweedore in the 2nd round. They needed to win 3.5 matches at home but it was not to be on the day. The Miele Team reached the semi final of the Region. On their way there they had overcome Blacklion, Bundoran, Portsalon, and Ballyliffen but were thwarted by a strong Slieve Russell team on the 4th August. Thanks to team managers Crona O’Reilly, Bernie Treacy, Geraldine Gorman, team members and panel for their time and commitment during the summer.
