MAN RUSHED TO HOSPITAL AFTER SETTING HIMSELF ON FIRE

A Donegal man is fighting for his life after setting himself on fire.

The man, who is in his 60s, set himself on fire near Ballintra before 8pm.

The Rescue 118 helicopter managed to rush the man to Dublin’s St James Hospital where he is being treated by medical teams.

The man has been placed in the serious burns unit where doctors are battling to save his life.
