By Mary Rodgers: The ‘Wee’ Neilly Boyle hospice fundraiser in Smugglers Nite Club Arranmore raised a FANTASTIC €3,670.
This money has enabled Mary Collins, clinical nurse specialist, district hospital Dungloe to buy two syringe drivers, to be used for palliative care in the local area.
A BIG thank you to EVERYONE that contributed to this fundraiser, in total we have raised €10,670 over two years for the Donegal Hospice. On behalf of myself, John Neilly, Seamus and all the Boyle family…THANKS.
Geraldine Bonner and her team involved in the making of the cd ‘Rosses Tree Of Life’ in aid of cancer care Donegal, heard about the purchase of the syringe drivers and kindly contributed towards a third syringe driver, €1,422 has been donated to this worthy cause.
The generosity of our community is overwhelming, thanks again.
