It is a tough draw; but Davy McLaughlin’s team won’t fear their opponents.
There is little doubt Donegal have progressed under the Moville coach and his back room team.
And they are continuing to focus on this part of the championship, with a good win over Armagh in a challenge game midweek.
Cavan, who beat Meath today 1-15 to 0-13 in the televised TG4 game, were drawn to play Laois in the 2nd round qualifier.
Tyrone will play Monaghan and Westmeath will take on Mayo.
