GET stocked up on the sun cream – most of Donegal is set to enjoy more sizzling heat.
Weather watchers say temperatures are predicted to remain in the mid to high 20 degrees centigrade until the end of the month…dipping this weekend before rising again next week.
Today, tomorrow and Friday are expected to be similar to yesterday with temperatures forecast to peak in the high 20s.
There is still some cloud around – and the odd shower in west Donegal – but the heat is going to remain intense with Friday looking like another scorcher.
Light rain will bring a temporary reprieve from the seering heat on Saturday and Sunday before temperatures soar once again at the start of next week.
But all good things must come to an end and forecasters are predicting persistent rain from August 2nd resulting in temperatures dropping to the mid teens.
