LETTERKENNY athlete Mark English has taken gold in Belfast tonight – setting a new Donegal record for the 400 metres.
He ran yet another personal best of 46.56 to win the event at the Belfast International at the Mary Peters track beating Irish number one for the event and current Irish champion Brian Gregan.
“Simply put it was a fantastic run,” said national team manager Patsy McGonagle.
