With an entry of 78 crews (390 competitors) the Teelin Regatta on Sunday last was the largest Skiff Regatta so far this year.
On a glorious day, with Slieve League towering above the competition, Teelin Port was a hive of activity.
Approx. 1000 spectators came to watch the racing.
The local club included a category for the traditional boat ‘the punt’, which saw 4 entries.
With a total of 29 races the host committee produced an efficiently run event which was enjoyed by all.
Now all club attention turns to next Sunday when the Host club will be Loughros Point Rowing Club and the Regatta circuit moves to Shannagh Lake just outside Ardara where another large entry is expected.
