THE family of Oisin Merritt, the Donegal teenager in a coma in Spain after a fall, have asked people here to pray for him.
The 19-year-old talented footballer, who plays with Finn Harps reserves, has been in a coma in hospital in Mallorca after a fall in the resort of Santa Ponsa two weeks ago.
In a statement today his family said the Stranorlar youth had not been responding to treatment.
“He is currently still in a critical condition and not responding to the treatment. We ask that we all stay positive and keep praying,” they said.
“The family greatly appreciate all the prayers and support that they have received and want to thank everyone for all that they have done. Please continue to pray for Oisin.”
