DDTV: First there was ‘Donegal Is Happy’ on Oprah – now Hollywood Actor Paul Rudd has spoken of his stag trip to the county.
In another astonishing boost for tourism Rudd spoke of the bachelor party in Donegal.
“We had a week in Donegal,” says the Anchorman actor.
Letterman asked why they hadn’t gone to Las Vegas for a party for two friends who were getting married.
“First of all Ireland is the best place on earth,” says Rudd.
He said he wore his Ireland jersey on for the trip with his name on the back and he took it with him on his Donegal trip.
He said that after five pints in a pub in Killybegs he went and got the jersey (with a number 2 on the back) and went back to the pub.
“But everyone there still started teasing me,” he laughed.
And that included Seamus Coleman’s dad who told him: “There’s only one man in this town who wears No2.”
