FANCY becoming a Ladies Gaelic Football referee?
Well if you’re aged over 15 and want to learn the basics, the Donegal LGFA is running a course later this month.
It lasts just three hours and at the end of it, you can start your whistling career at U12 Go Games matches
The course is on June 23 – a venue will be decided later.

Go-Games – Basic Refereeing –
During this course participants will:
•Be introduced to the basic rules of Ladies Gaelic Football
•Discuss the roles and responsibilities of referees
•Develop the fundamental skills of refereeing to enable to referee in a fun, safe environment
Duration: Course is maximum 3 hours in duration which can be held during day or over an evening. TY/AS Level Grab Your Whistle is also included at this level.
The GO-Games course will be aimed at participants who are over 15yrs and adults who wish to start out on the road to becomes referees of the future. Minimum participants for this course is 12 with a maximum of 20.
Clubs are urged to encourage members to participate in this course, especially younger club members thinking of taking up Ladies Gaelic refereeing.
