A young Donegal woman has been given a massive boost to her career.

Ciara receives a gesture in recognition of her award.

Ciara receives a gesture in recognition of her award.

Ciara Monagle-Wilson, from Newtowncunnigham, recently won the Northern Ireland Animal Nursing Assistant of the Year award for 2014.

Popular Ciara has worked at the St Elmo Veterinary Clinic in Derry for the past 6 years.

Ciara believes in practicing what she preaches and has two dogs and two horses or her own and is even married to a farmer!

She is pictured with Emma Jane, the proprietor of St Elmo Vet Clinic and Susie from Hill’s Pet Foods.
