The Ulster Senior League have launched a new App for iPhones, Android and Windows.
Developed in conjunction with local firm Mobileonix, who are based in Gaoth Dobhair, the new App will enable soccer followers to keep up to date with League fixtures, changes to fixtures, view league tables and results and to contact the league – you can even keep up with the latest news from the World Cup!
USL PRO Paul McGovern told Donegal Daily, “We are delighted to launch the new App in partnership with Mobileonix.
“We see it as a great tool in this technological age for all soccer supporters to keep up with the latest news from Donegal’s Intermediate Division.
“It will allow us to get information out to everyone that downloads the App in a quick and easy way.
Paddy Farren from Mobileonix is a former USL player having played with his local team, Carndonagh for many years so he was very in tune for what we needed from the App.
Paddy Farren said, “One of the main functions will be our “push notifications” that will act as a text service to those that download it from their app provider, but they can also check league tables, results etc. and other functions will be added over time.
“At just €0.89 – a once-off payment – to download, it represents great value and we look forward to connecting with our players, officials, supporters and anyone interested in Donegal soccer through this fantastic advancement for our league.
