Two of Donegal’s most famous brands have come together to promote the economy and image of the county in a unique venture.
Minister Michael Ring, Minister of State for Tourism and Sport officially launch the joint marketing initiative of Harvey’s Point and Magee of Donegal which will be known as SephirA.
The glamourous launch was attended by the Gysling and Temple families and General Manger, Noel Cunningham today in the Magee of Donegal store, Donegal Town.
The two leading family run brands are joining forces to jointly promote hospitality, tourism, retail and employment in the Donegal region, at a National and International level.
The strategic partnership of the two family brands synonymous with quality and Donegal will see a vast array of mutually attractive consumer benefits generated for both Harvey’s Point and Magee of Donegal alike.
The brands will engage in a number of cross promotion strategies, to include international sales trips, with a key focus on North America.
As an ambassador for the Wild Atlantic Way, Deirdre McGlone, Harvey’s Point will travel across the United States throughout the summer months, promoting the West Coast Experience.
At a national level there will be in store consumer promotions and a dedicated merchandised cabinet display of Magee’s products available for purchase in Harvey’s Point.
Guests to Harvey’s Point will also receive exclusive Magee in store discounts, as well as availing of a complimentary personal shopping experience and upcoming select fashion events.
The picturesque hotel runs a series of midweek and weekend breaks, which will include a Magee shopping experience and traditional weaving demonstrations.
In a further initiative to generate and grow visitors and promote tourism in Donegal, Magee of Donegal will this year sponsor the ever popular Harvey’s Point ‘Dinner Cabaret’, which will return for the 2014 season, from June 25th to October 29th.
