LIVERPOOL legend Ronnie Whelan’s Annual Charity Walk – Donegal to Galway – will have a couple of special guests.
Danny O’Carroll (aka Buster from Mrs Brown’s Boys) and Laurence Kinlan (aka Elmo from Love/Hate) will be with former Irish international Ronnie when he starts his walk in Bundoran on May 30th!
The charity walk will be in aid of Myaware (formerly Myasthenia Gravis Association).
Myasthenia is a rare autoimmune disease that causes severe muscle weakness. There is no known cure and it can make everyday life an enormous challenge for those who live with it. It can be extremely difficult to get a timely diagnosis.
Ronnie knows this only too well as his daughter Elizabeth was diagnosed with myasthenia in 2005.
Now a patron for Myaware he works tirelessly to help the charity raise essential funds and awareness to support sufferers of myasthenia across the country.
Both Ronnie and Myaware would really appreciate if you were in a position to help.
You can make a personal donation or one from your business or a staff contribution to this event by fundraising in advance.
You will even have the opportunity to personally present the donation to Ronnie, Buster and Elmo.
Cheques can be made out to Myaware and sent to Myaware, PO Box 480, Ennis, Co Clare or you can make an online donation atwww.myaware.ie
