A huge well done to all our athletes who took part in the Donegal Championships last Saturday in Lifford for ages 12 – 17’s. There as Gold for Ailbhe O Donnell in the U-17 100m. Gold for Amy Hanna in the U-17 Long Jump. Gold for Kincasslagh girl Aoise Willoughby in the U-14 Long Jump. A great debut for Maghery girl Emily Croke who picked up gold in the U-12 Shot Putt and silver in the Turbo Javelin. Indeed it was a clean sweep in the Turbo Javelin with Gaoth Dobhair girl Leah Mc Garvey winning the gold, Emily the silver and Burtonport girl Aine Bonner getting the bronze. There was a Silver for Mia Mc Devitt in the U-15 High Jump with medals also for U-17 pair Jessica Oglesby and Rebecca Greene in the High Jump, Javelin and Hurdles.
