BREAKING NEWS: MINISTER FOR JUSTICE SHATTER RESIGNS

Minister for Justice Alan Shatter has resigned, Taoiseach Enda Kenny has told the Dáil.

Shatter: has resigned.

Mr Kenny said Mr Shatter stepped down as a result of the inquiry into allegations of Garda malpractice by Séan Guerin SC.

The Taoiseach said his replacement will be announced either today or tomorrow morning.
