The Local Enterprise Office, formerly Donegal County Enterprise Board, is running a series of eBay training events for businesses and business start ups within the county.
Michael Hughes, Ireland’s leading eBay trainer will deliver a three hour illustrated “Introduction to eBay “ in the Clanree Hotel, Letterkenny from 2.00 p.m. to 5.00 p.m. on Thursday 1 May.
His presentation will feature live demonstrations on how to search for an item on eBay, place a bid, buy and pay for an item using PayPal and how to list an item for sale on eBay.
He will also identify eBay’s top sellers worldwide, share insider tips and tricks, point out the latest trends, best-selling categories etc.
Michael Hughes was the first eBay trained and approved Education Specialist on the island of Ireland and the first 5 star Instructor (the highest ranking possible) in the UK or Ireland. He has helped individual companies drive export sales on eBay of over €1 million per year.
Michael Tunney, Head of Local Enterprise, says “We have run a series eBay programmes in the past as a result of which a number of local companies have been recognised as eBay Top Rated Sellers. Given the challenges facing indigenous entrepreneurs I would encourage as many local business people as possible to attend.”
Prospective attendees must pre-register by emailing danny.mceleney@leo.donegalcoco.ie by phoning 074 9160735.
Further high level eBay training events are planned as a follow up to this event.
