Ernie Pollock’s Lagan Harps FC News: Our men’s teams place in Division One was secured with Dromoghill Fc’s win in Keadue on Sunday.
A run of four wins and a draw in our last five games had seen us escape relegation.
Our final game is away to Dunkineely Celtic. Our u/14 boys lost an 4-3 to Kilmacrennan Celtic in an entertaining game. Jack Duffy(2) and Ryan O’Donnell were the scorers. Our u/12’s drew 1-1 with Dunfanaghy on Thursday, with Ryan Moore the scorer. On Saturday they lost to a strong Letterkenny Rovers side.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Killian Gribben who was injured in the game. Our u/12 girls travelled to Gweedore on Saturday to play Gweedore Celtic. Our a team lost 6-4 with Holly Cannon(2), Shannon Cunninghamand Maura Sweeney scoring. Our B team also lost but had good performers in Clodagh Sweeney and Iosha Kelly.
In our weekly lotto the numbers drawn were 5,11,15 and 23. Three people had three numbers with Mary Mc Fadden drawn out and winning E50. Next week’s jackpot is E5,000. The schoolboys and girls teams are running a Night at the Races in the Lagan Inn on Sunday May 3rd.
