DD LOCAL NEWS: CLEAN-UP
A cleanup is being organised in Dunkineely on Saturday 11th April from 11 am to 1 pm. – meeting at Dunkineely Community Centre. Please come and support as “many hands make light work”. Bags and gloves will be provided.
DUNKINEELY IN BLOOM 2014 – Dunkineely Community Ltd are hoping to run a Dunkineely in Bloom competition in 2014, to brighten up the town and surrounding areas. We are looking for volunteers!! Would you like to be involved, or be part of the organising, any help would be great.

DCL WALKING GROUP gathers Tuesday mornings, at 10am at the DCL office. Next walk: Tuesday 8th April. Whether you would like to wander or speed walk for around an hour, it’s up to you and there will be a cup of tea afterwards…. Contact Marie Hutchinson or the DCL office for more info on: 074 9737052
STABLES YOUTH members have 4 choices for a summer trip 2014. Members should have a look at the four website suggestions on the DCL Facebook page and let Vanessa or Abigail know on 074 9737052 what they would like to do. Members should come to Sunday @7 on Sunday evening 13th April at 7pm to Dunkineely Stables with a parent and be prepared to sign up and book your place to whichever of the four holidays you wish to choose and pay a €25 deposit. Commit to paying at least €10 a week until the holiday you have chosen is paid for.
EASTER CLUB – “Minions Assemble” for 1st – 4th Class students in Dunkineely Methodist Hall. Monday – Thursday 14th – 17th April mornings 11am-12.30pm. Cost per day: €5 per child (discount if more children from one family). Please register by Friday 11th April for as many days as your child would like to attend. Place is booked by payment of fee. Places are limited, so book early to secure a place. Contact the DCL office for more details: 074 9737052.
GOOD FRIDAY WALK – CHURCH TO CHURCH – Leaving Dunkineely Methodist at 1:00pm on Good Friday, 18th April, stop at Killaghtee Church of Ireland and then walk onto Bruckless, finishing at the Chapel around 2:00pm. Make it a family outing, let’s mark Good Friday together this year. Contact DCL office or Rev Ruth, Rev John or Fr. James for more details.
DUBLIN WOMENS MINI MARATHON
Taking place on Bank Holiday Monday, 2nd June 2014. We will be opening the entry process for the 2014 in mid February and we hope that you will join us on the big day.
