THE family of a man missing from his home in Dublin have today asked the public in Co Donegal for help in locating him.
Paddy Douglas was last positively identified in Dublin on January 5 last. However a good samaritan in Letterkenny three days later believes he may have helped the 64-year-old.
The local man says he had a conversation with a man fitting Paddy’s description, got him a taxi to a hostel and gave him money for food.
This man looked like Paddy and spoke with a Dublin accent. The man also said he had just arrived in Letterkenny on the bus from Dublin and was trying to find a friend a Gaoth Dobhair.
If you have seen Paddy at any stage since January can you call Gardai in Coolock on the number in the poster above or contact your local Garda station.
His family has asked Donegal Daily readers for help in locating him.
“Please share this story on social media so it can be seen as many people as possible,” said his niece Fran Douglas Hislop.
“We would be very grateful for any information no matter how small.”
