Today’s Weather: Mainly cloudy today with a good deal of dry weather for much of the day but with a little patchy rain and drizzle at times, especially in Inishowen and along the north coast.
It will be brighter and sunnier in most places this afternoon with temperatures of up to 14C when the sun is out before heavy showers arrive over Donegal, reaching the south of the county around 5pm, and then sweeping northwards over the rest of the county.
The rain will be heavy and thundery at times and will clear the county by midnight. Highest overnight temperatures of around 6C overnight tonight.
