The winners of the MacLarnon and Markey Cups went head-t0-head for the right to the post primary schools last four berth, with the Letterkenny side seven points to the good at the end 1-11 to 0-07.
Eunan’s played against a strong breeze in the first half in Ballyshannon but a superb display from Niall O’Donnell with a goal and two points saw the Letterkenny boys two ahead at half-time, Shaun Hume and Daire McDaid with the other scores to leave it 1-04 to 0-05, Philip McNern, Conor Doherty, Padraig Byrne and Aodhan McGinley pointing for Coláiste na Carraige.
Hume hit some monster frees with the aid of the wind in the second half, with O’Donnell again on the scoresheet.
St Eunan’s will now play Scoil Aodháin from Glasnevin in the All-Ireland semi-final.
Mountbellew of Galway face Ballincollig from Cork in the other last four game.
