DONEGAL LGFA NEWS: IT’S perhaps a measure of how far Donegal’s ladies team are progressing when a team from this county can go to a county like Monaghan and come within a whisker of upsetting the odds.
The Donegal Ladies U16s did just that today.
They travelled to the Eire Og club grounds in Smithborough and ran their hosts very close, losing in the end by just two points.
It was a brave performance from the Donegal ladies who can push on from this result and take great heart from it.
The final score was Monaghan 1-14, Donegal 2-09.
