Two Dublin men have appeared in court tonight charged with a burglary on one of Donegal’s best-known restaurants.
John Wall, 19, and Thomas McDonagh, 20, were charged with burglary at Harry’s Restaurant in Bridgend in the early hours of Friday morning.
The restaurant was damaged in the raid but reopened the same day.
The men appeared at a special sitting of Sligo District Court having been detained in custody at Buncrana Garda station since their arrest.
The court was told that both men were wanted for questioning about other alleged offences in the south.
The court was told that McDonagh had been living in Derry but is originally from Dublin.
Both are no fixed abode.
The pair have been remanded in custody to appear at a future siting of the courts.
