DONEGAL 0-07, DUBLIN 5-09: DONEGAL’S senior ladies were well beaten in their clash with Dublin in Donegal Town this afternoon.
The Donegal side – without manager Maggie Foy who resigned after a meeting with the county board midweek – were mauled in the opening minutes by quick-fire goals from the visitors.
Dublin led by a huge score at the break – 4-05 to 0-03 and Donegal ladies gave a better account of themselves in the second half, so there were some positives.
The next crop of young players did well this weekend- pictured is the U-16 ladies who had a comprehensive win over Mayo on Saturday in a challenge game held in Sligo.
