Donegal halfback pairing of Larissa Muldoon and Nora Stapleton will take to the field at Twickenham this evening, hoping to beat England on their home turf – and fire Ireland towards more championship glory.
By that stage, perhaps – just perhaps – the men may have turned history on its head and landed a Triple Crown.
The women’s game is now getting the recognition it deserves.
So it’s great to see the game against England being televised on RTE2 this evening, straight after the men’s match.
Larissa, from Cappry, plays her club rugby with Bristol and the Exiles, was recalled to the team for the win over Wales and keeps her position for the clash.
Nora, from Fahan, will win her 21st cap today. She plays with Old Belvedere and Leinster.
Kick-off is at 6.20pm.
Good luck girls.
