Gardai in Meadownbank this evening
ARMED Gardaí have carried out raids in Letterkenny today linked to serious crime.
Officers wearing bullet-proof vest carried out searches on premises in the Meadowbank area of the town.
It’s understood the raids are part of an ongoing investigation into a criminal gang which has been operating in the town.
A dozen officers, backed up by the Regional Response Unit, took part in the search.
