A pedigree dog which went missing from its locked up enclosure in Buncrana has been recovered.
Nala, a dogue de Bordeaux, went missing from its owner’s home at Cassey Road yesterday morning.
The owner was first alerted when his other dogs began barking.
An appeal was put on Donegal Daily in a bid to find the missing dog amidst fears that it had been stolen.
However, the dog was found wandering in Buncrana yesterday but the owners still thought know how it got out of its enclosure.
A number of dogs have gone missing in the Inishowen area in recent weeks.
