A MAN from Dunfanaghy has appeared in court charged with theft.
Letterkenny District Court heard that Mingfei Guo, with an address at The Great Wall Chinese Takeaway, Dunfanaghy, was arrested at Tesco in Letterkenny on December 4.
A defence solicitor asked that the case against the 30-year-old be adjourned for four weeks to allow for an interpreter to be present.
Judge Paul Kelly adjourned the case until January 13.
A second charge relating to immigration matters was withdrawn by Gardai.
