MOTORISTS are being urged to drive with extreme caution tonight as temperatures dropped – and a new storm began.
Thunder, lightning and hail storms are sweeping across the county in the past hour.

Met Eireann says showers will continue throughout the evening before the winds slacken and temperatures drop to -3C overnight.
This will cause major problems on the roads.
Donegal County Council said gritting lorries are being deployed on all major routes from 9pm and overnight as a result of the forecast.
One reader in Churchill says the roads around the village are already frozen over.
Gardai and AA Ireland have appealed to motorists to take care overight.
Meanwhile Irish Weather Online says a storm due on Wednesday will cause winds of up to 130km/hr. The storm will land in Donegal.
