Senator Jimmy Harte’s family has released a statement from his bedside this afternoon.

There is no change with the Labour Party’s politician’s condition since he was taken ill and found unconscious in Dublin in the early hours of Saturday morning last.
The family say they have been inundated with messages of good will and support for the much-loved husband and father-of-four.
The statement reads “Jimmy remains in critical condition in Beaumont Hospital.
“The Harte family are extremely grateful and thankful to the people of Donegal and throughout the country who have sent their messages of goodwill and support.”
