One of Letterkenny’s best-known pubs has been sold.
Sister Sara’s on the Port Road had a guide price of €250,000 by selling agent Sherry Fitzgerald Rainey.
The 14,000 sq ft bar, which is based over three floors, was a hugely popular watering hole with many students during the boom.
The property had been in the hands of a receiver as it was part of an overall portfolio of property repossessed by a financial institution.
It is not known who the new owner is yet.
